"Linda's new work captures a unique
vision and offers us a moment of pause which is neither a beginning nor a
destination-rather it is a place of calm
and respite where renewal and regeneration inspire our hearts and spirits"

Linda Lee's work evolves a strong sense of place - an artistic accomplishment that can be years - and many miles in the making. Drawn to the beauty of the outdoor world, particularly gardens, Lee has traveled to France, England, Italy, Canada and the Caribbean to paint some of the world's most memorable gardens. The evocative results are evident in her impressionistic paintings of Tuscan sunflowers, poppies near Val d'Orcia in Italy, and water lilies in Monet's garden in Giverny, France.
A native of Chagrin Falls, Ohio she received her BFA degree from Ohio University. Linda taught art in both public and private schools. She served as Chair of the Visual Arts Department at Hathaway Brown School, Shaker Heights, Ohio for eighteen years.
Relocating to South Yarmouth, Massachusetts on Cape Cod, Linda immersed herself in the landscape, carefully considering how the colors of the Cape interact to create a sense of atmosphere and depth. It comes as no surprise that Lee has incorporated the impressionistic style, for which she is both nationally and internationally recognized, into her latest collection, "Land, Water, and Sky."
Commissioned for series of large paintings for the Cleveland Clinic Hospitals, Linda's work can be seen throughout the Hospital. Linda also completed a series of commissioned paintings for The Intercontential Hotel, her large paintings serve as the visual theme for the five star dining room.Linda Lee's Art:

Jennifer Finkel PhD Curator, Art Programs, Art & Medicine Inst, Cleveland Clinic
"The painting to us represents tranquility, creativity, and inspires the notion of how great ideas, in this case, a beautiful image can stem from a glimpse or a single thought that may go-unnoticed but can create great new beginnings for others if only effort is put forth"Sherri White, Cleveland Clinic Educational Institute
Linda's art is now on exhibit in galleries throughout New England. Ohio and Florida. She has had numerous one-person shows throughout the United States and is included in many private and corporate collections.
